📋 Club Membership – Terms & Conditions (Summary)
General Eligibility
- Must be an active LIC agent with valid IRDAI license.
- Club status is normally evaluated on performance of the qualifying year and any two of the previous three years.
- Required number of lives must be in force as on evaluation date.
- Regular premium collection and acceptable first-year lapse ratio are mandatory.
- Agent must follow LIC’s code of conduct and ethical selling practices.
Performance Calculations
- Net lives are counted on the basis of policies completed in the financial year.
- Monthly average = total lives of 3 years ÷ 36 months (for reference planning).
- Persistency norms apply – lapsed policies may not be fully counted.
- Lives revived can be counted subject to LIC rules at that time.
Benefits & Advances
- Office allowances, festival advance, telephone reimbursement etc. are paid as per LIC’s prevailing instructions.
- Housing and vehicle loans are subject to eligibility, documentation and repayment conditions.
- Travel benefits require prior approval and submission of valid bills where applicable.
- Group insurance and mediclaim coverage become active after confirmation of club membership.
- All monetary benefits are subject to applicable tax laws.
Review & Renewal
- Club membership is reviewed every year and may be upgraded, continued or downgraded.
- Non-fulfilment of criteria or violation of rules can lead to withdrawal of club membership.
